The Medal of Honor is the Nation's highest award for valor.  There were 26 Medal of Honor recipients from the 1st Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War, more then any other unit.  The names of the recipients are listed below and by clicking on the name will bring up the citation information.  * indicates the Medal was given posthumous.  The names and citation information has come from the U.S. Army Center of Military History.  The photographs of the Medal of Honor recipients are courtesy of Doug Sterner and his web site at Home of Heroes: http://www.homeofheroes.com
